When I came across Emilio Pucci' s Resort 2011 collection I couldn't help but notice a total throwback to the 1970's. Military style blazers paired with high waisted shorts and pants calls movies like Blow or Boogie Nights to mind. My favorite resort pieces feature Pucci's signature prints on whimsical maxi style dresses that are just full of movement. Perfect for feeling sexy and playful, these pieces should be your uniform for this seasons yacht galavanting and island hopping.

The collection is downtown indie hipster with a mixture of uptown timeless sophistication. When visiting their website, anticipate a plethora of mixed metals, oxidized silver, gold, and gunmetal with stones like dusy quartz, crystals, aqua aura and pearl. Miu Miu Mania | Sparrows, Cats and Dasies, oh my!

Miu Miu's whimsical print-heavy collection is probably the most coveted and obsessed about of the Spring trends in the editorial world. The quirky prints of sparrows, cats, and daises are closely adorned with pastels, silks, jewels and elongated collars. I'm not much of a cat person but I do love the sparrows!

Fashionable Finds

My favorite place to shop these days has by far been Melrose Trading Post here in Los Angeles. Today I scored a pair of knock off Grey Ant shades, some vintage cut off Levi's, a gold watch and a hair band that kind of reminds me of bunny ears :)
